Outstanding Graduate Program - Accepting Nominations
Help us celebrate our former students and the important influence Catholic education has had on their lives.

This program will run on an annual basis. Each fall the board will put out a call for nominations. On-line applications will be accepted through the nomination form at www.outstandinggrads.ca until January 31st of each year. Nominations will be considered by a selection committee made up of board staff and community partners.

Nomination Criteria
The nominee must have attended and graduated from a school in the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (we will consider graduates from our Catholic elementary schools, especially in communities where there wasn't always a Catholic high school).

The nomination must have been received no later than January 31st in order to be considered by the selection committee for that school year.

We are looking for nominees who have been successful in their chosen field and/or have made a significant contributions to society. This may include but is not limited to success in business, the arts, government, faith community, medicine, charitable works, etc.

Nominees must have completed their education (this includes post-secondary) e.g., we will not consider a nominee who is in the process of completing a masters degree or PHD. Once they have completed their post-secondary studies we would be happy to consider their nomination.

At this time, we will not consider nominees who are employed by the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District Board. This is something we may consider through a different initiative.

The nominator must inform the nominee that their name is being put forward. The nominee must be comfortable for their name, photo and other information to be shared publicly.
