Mr. Scarlett


Mr. ScarlettMarty Scarlett has been at St Dominic for 15 of his 20 years as a teacher. He teaches various technologies including construction and the green industry, as well as integration technology. He originally attended the University of Windsor and received honours in human kinetics and went on to complete a bachelor of education at Brock University. He also completed an apprenticeship in carpentry. Mr. Scarlett likes to involve himself and the students in community projects to help them develop compassion. His students recently completed a greenhouse project for Community Living South Muskoka and the food items grown there are later donated to local food banks and organizations. He has been nominated for, and received a number of awards for his community involvement.
